Testimonials “For the past 10 months Simon has been my strength and conditioning coach. In that time I have done a combination of gym and track sessions. I have done an injury prevention section to rebalance my muscles. In the 6 months I have seen a massive increase in my power output for skills such as passing and shooting, with a notable increase in my shooting range. The training programme Simon made helped me massively in bridging this gap from junior to senior. It was designed specifically for my sport and after only my second international competition as a senior in which I reached the third round I could no longer feel a difference in strength between me and my opponents. Simon also ensured that I did not put any weight on in the training programme that he prepared for me, which was important as I needed to fight in a specific weight class and since training with him I have not moved up in weight. Not only does Simon provide me with the right exercises to do but he also has a great ability in explaining the logic and benefits behind them, as well as showing me exactly how they should be done in order to avoid injury, resulting in me avoiding any injuries during our training. After each training session that I had we wrote down the weights and repetitions of each exercise, and I was able to see a steady progression in the amount of weights I could do, which also helped build my confidence. The training that I have done with Simon has been highly professional but at the same time enjoyable due to the great training atmosphere and motivation Simon provides, which enables me to work hard and exceed my limits so that I can improve at a good rate.
